Dual monitor background images in WinXP

edited August 2004 in Hardware
Ok, I have looked for an hour to find some sort of app that would let me do this, but I've found nothing of the sort. Now I come to you guys with this:

I have two images, and two monitors. I would like one image to be displayed on one monitor as the background image, and a different image to be used on the other. It seems that in Windows, selecting one image for one monitor sets the same image for the other monitor, which is kinda lame IMO... :banghead:

Does anyone know of any way to allow both monitors to have two different images displayed?

Just as a side note: The two monitors use different resolutions (one 1280X1024, the other 1024X768).

I second Shortsters choice there. He pimped that one a while back when i had a TFT next to my 19 incher. No problems whatsoever with 2 different resolutions. VERY customable application.

I personally like when you use the smaller monitor to "browse" the puter, but as soon as you open an application, it opens on the big screen. Then just drag ´n drop whatever back over to the small screen.

Well, one is free, the other is +$30... I'll give that Ultramon a shot though, can't hurt.

    Thanks guys!
