Hey, I have a friend who has changed all the file associations on her laptop to all open to Mcafee, she's not sure what she did and I can't find an easy way to fix it. I have tried resetting default file associations but it didn't do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and her.

    google "fix file associations"

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950505

You may also wish to run something like combofix and malwarebytes to guarantee that there aren't any viruses/trojans lurking about.
