Alright. Expo Icrontic 2012 ticket sales are closed. The final list of attendees is set. Our sponsors are locked in. Prizes have been arriving and setup is starting. I'll use this post to update everyone on the pre-show prep. Getting excited yet?

Today I got a package from Verizon Midwest containing a Galaxy Tab 10.1, a Galaxy Nexus, and two 4G LTE Jetpack MiFi boxes. I've been playing around with the Galaxy Tab (which I shouldn't do, because it makes me want a tablet very badly) and updating everything to get ready for the event. These two devices will be available at Expo to play around with and get hands-on with ICS and Honeycomb (unless the Galaxy Tab gets ICS before next week!). The JetPack MiFis will be available for supplemental Wi-fi internet access for those who request it.

I've also put the order for the shirts in today. Even though people thought we were getting pink, the shirts will actually be grey. Sorry to those who were excited about pink; perhaps pink ones will be available for extra purchase later on.

I've got a gigantic pile of boxes to unpack. Swag, swag, swag.

    Today is hardware nerd day. Jimmeh has his keyboard disassembled, and is cleaning it. @cannonfodder is disassembling his HP to apply new thermal compound. We've got a new Noctua low profile cooler out, taking pictures for a review, and I'm also messing around with an external RAID-1 backup unit for another review.

    Also, looks like Rune is gonna be "that game". There's one small out-of-nowhere game every year that sweeps the crowd. For $8 on Steam, you should probably get it, because it's wacky LAN fun.
