Battlefield 1942: Short-Media Clan?

Well, Several people have posted questions, request, pleas and such, so.... There must be a few people here at Short-Media that play the game. The question is, is there enough intrest in starting a clan and a chat server? I am not really able to but a poll may peak the intrest of someone that can host. Just a thought.

    I'm interested in joining. I was going to use my cardboard box PC as a ventrillo server but I am not sure if it is powerful enough. I am still trying to get the network card running. I'll have to see how it works out.

    Yes, I'd be interested. When I've finished my degree in May I'll have plenty of time to play in a S-M bf1942 clan.

    Me and Garg are already in a clan (www.clanbeowulf.org) and we have 2 servers on phat pipes. Everyone is welcome to play there, although we do have rules.

    1. No foul language because it's a family killing environment.
    2. Plz don't camp uncapturable bases.
    3. Tags are off unless you're really close. It just takes more skill that way.

    I also know that my clan has voice chat stuff, but I don't know if it's public or not? We're working on that. So for anyone who wants to get some killin on, stop by our house.

    You know I'm definitely interested. I'll stop by your website buddy jesus and check it out too. Having a dedicated server definitely has its benefits.

    Are we going to be doing both DC and regular BF 1942? I'm in either way but I was just wondering. I never played much DC until yesterday but it is definitly growing on me. I can't drive the DC vehicles for beans, aside from that dune buggy thing, but the ground combat with the SAW Machine gun is awesome.

    I particularly like the rotary aircraft. Very cool stuff. Of course I'm the maniac who is flying with the mouse.

    I might be the only guy here who hasn't played BF1942. That being said, I wouldn't mind joining the SM Call of Duty division.

    If it's DC AND BF I am in. I am all about DC, pretty lukewarm on BF.

    I'm right there with CaffeineMe...If it's DC and BF1942 or just DC I would be interested...DC roxx0rz, not too crazy about BF1942 though.

    Of course you could learn it. You may get killed a lot learning, but you'll learn :) It's a blast!

    im in, I love BF1942, mostly DC tho, I suck at flying helicopters, so if you ever see me taking off in one dont try to hitch a ride unless you're looking for the side of a mountain cause thats probably where youll end up

    I currently play as formfactor. I don't use All Seeing Eye Tho...

    I use the PlanetBattlefield QuickMatch applett.

    It has an awesome buddy list system, and its completely free.

    I am pretty good, and its frustrating when playing on a lot of the servers because a lot of people out there just ruin the game by teamkilling and other equally shady behavior.

    It would be nice to play with some more mature gamers.

    I fly helicopters mostly, but I am extremely effective by tank and foot too.

    Hope to see some of you guys on the battlefield :p

    I have you added formfactor. All Seeing Eye allows me to be able to see what server you're playing on regardless on whether you also have the program. I'll be able to find you and drop by the server you're playing on. I'll see you on the battlefield soon.
