    Well, the v2 set of that series just came out--so give it time to drop more, like a couple months. I needed a 10" tablet. For a 7" my choice might have been different than an Excite--my Mom is waiting for the next sales locally on a Kindle Fire.

    I'm just looking for a quality 7" Tegra 3 tablet with a rear camera. The Nexus 7 would be fine, if only it had a camera.

    Look at link above, different CPU that is dual-core, same speed CPU as the Excite, same quality front camera as the Excite, but Android Honeycomb. Price is lower though. Might be a decent compromise.

    After a LOT of looking around, I can find nothing that uses the Nvidia Tegra 3 and has Gorilla Glass display for less than the Toshiba Excite line that is sold in the US. Maybe in 6-9 months, but by then I expect the Excite line to be cheaper also.
