Missing Audio Drivers

Hi guys! The speakers on my friends notebook have stopped working so I've been trying to find the missing audio drivers, however I have been unable to find the ones I am looking for. The notebook is an Acer Aspire One and the Audio controller is an Intel(r) 82801AB AC'97 and the Vendor ID is 8086. I was wondering if someone could please link me to the right drivers.

We'll also need the exact model nuimber of the Acer Aspire One. There's a lot of them.

The graphics driver is probably this one:

Yep, that's the graphics driver. Thanks to having the VenID, I can tell you that you need the Generic Intel AC'97 Interface for 800-Series chipsets. (Intel's PCI Vendor ID is, yes, 8086. They also have 8080.) Acer usually doesn't use modified VenID/DevID tables, thank gods.

Use the Intel Chipset Software Download Utility for maximum effectiveness. This should handle everything EXCEPT graphics.
Once that's done, it should expose the other side of the AC'97 interface, which will likely be a Realtek family with it's own drivers to actually make sound work.
