I'm finally putting in a 6 GB HD and reclaiming my 40 GB. I forgot I put it in there.... been looking for it too. Anyway, I'm installing W2K right now then transfering the old f@h folder over so I won't lose anything. Should be up tomorrow night.

Cool?

Peace, love, and Folding

Could just Ghost it. That'd get you finished, and it folding, much sooner.

I also wanted to free up my licences of XP and install W2K instead. Now all my rigs are XP and SM19 is W2K.

So what would I need to do to upgrade SM19's CPU? If I were to cough a newer CPU (say a XP 2000+ or so) would I be able to keep the Athlon 1400? SM19 feels like a forgoten child. SM15, SM17, SM18, SM20, & SM21 are all in the 1600+ and over range. Besides, can't overclock a AMD Athlon 1400...

Oil change??? sounds more like a new transmition.

Why can't you OC the 1400? It just take a ****load of cooling.
I have had mine as high as 1660, but it likes to fold at 1.6.

I was told that AMD 1400 are not easily overclocked because they're locked. I have a sk-7 on the CPU, so it can do some fairly agressive heat.

You can always raise the FSB a little.

QCH, the 1.4 is a TBird, just unlock it with a pencil. Th eonly problem is what multipliers you have available. I don't have anything over 12.5 on my old mobos.
