    Something totally weird since I upgraded to Windows 8: When I cut/copy SHiFT codes from Chrome, I can no longer paste them into Borderlands 2. I have to paste them into notepad, then re-cut/re-copy them and then it works. Weird.

    The lady got this for me for our anniversary, AND the mechromancer pack, and I have been playing the funk out of it lately. I get the impression the real fun is in multiplayer though.

    Yeah, I didn't have time to play early on and most people had advanced far beyond me. Didnt have a chance to play multiplayer yet.

    So since Borderlands 2 is on in the living room for at least 16 hours a day every day since it was released I feel like I should know what these codes do but I do not. What is this and how is it even possible I'm not making up those numbers?

    They put a Golden Key in your inventory. The Golden Keys unlock the special chest in Sanctuary, that gives you a really good weapon for whatever level you are. The higher level you are, the better the weapon.

    Well considering it's a one-time thing, I'd think at max level would be best. But then you're stuck waiting to level up and I'm guessing more keys will come out before that.

    I just use them whenever. Most of the time they'll be the best guns you get, and they're always giving out keys, so there's no point in waiting.
