Using 3.9s...need a hand

edited February 2004 in Science & Tech
I am using the cat 3.9s on my 9800 XT. I don't have any problems with them, with the slight exception being Shadow Bane. Should I upgrade to the newest drivers? Now I am not the best tech person, so if I do upgrade, I just down load them, and install them over the top of the old drivers? If not, what exactly do I do? Thanks alot in advance.

Make sure you use the ATI removal tool before installing new drivers. I have successfully installed new drivers over old ones, but ATI recommends the removal tool first. Better safe than sorry. I don't have the link handy right now, but it is on ATI's website somewhere, and i am sure some nice soul will provide you with the exact link.

You want to remove the previous drivers, to avoid a decrease in performance.
