Building a Small Computer For gaming

I'm looking to put together a Small PC for playing Starcraft D3 and Magicka, No FPS games and stuff Just those 3 games and a few games like that. I need to do it as cheap as possible Just the tower, I would prefer Micro ATX Since it will be in my living room hooked up to a TV Its been 3 years since I built anything and I am soooo far out of it I dont even have a clue as which direction to go And As cheap as possible without sacrificing quality

I'm gonna jump right in and start suggesting the AMD A8-5600K APU as a CPU to build this around.

I don't think you'll have a satisfactory experience on an all new machine for that price point (with what you are asking it to do). What parts do you have that will be re-usable?

Ive been playing on my mackbook from 2010 I sold and bought a Ipad and only have 400 left, Im sure it will be better than the Macbooks graphics

I have the keyboard mouse and all

You're going to run into issues like this, but here is the build I would recommend for all brand new parts, no monitor. Either build most of it and save for a little while, or wait and build it later. Maybe snag some Cyber Monday sales. You could initially get away with only the APU graphics but it will be lacking. I have no experience on building in HTPC enclosures, so you might need to get more advice on that.

Here's a system that I put together: You're at $429 there. If you want to tack on a discrete GPU, which I highly recommend, you could spend another $110 and get the SAPPHIRE Low-Profile 7750 that we reviewed a while back.

$400 is a really, really tight budget.
