IMAC G5 OS ADMIN access

I just acquired this g5 through cl. And of course the previous owner doesn't know the admin password. Any thoughts on how to do a password reset.

Your best bet is wipe the system and reinstall.

While a clean install is probably a good idea to ensure the system is clean and legit, you can certainly regain admin access.

Lucky the person I got this from gave me the admin password after the fact.
