    Looks like the expansions are purchased with coins. You can use real money to buy more coins also.

    The little shop with the expansion cards seems to use some kind of owl token that must be purchased with actual dollars, I did find that if you click far enough into the shop you can find new single-player game modes that are bought with the gold coins.

    That would be a nice feature. I guess you could link a browser to Steam and only use it to play Dominion. Not the best way, but it's a possibility.

    Goko, the guys who made Dominion Online, are also working on a Catan game. You can sign up for the closed beta over here.

    Next they should do Vegas Showdown.
