What crates should I open

in Team Fortress 2
I have 11 keys (or so) that are just sitting in my backpack. I want to use them on some crates. What crates should I open (I don't want to trade for the expensive salvaged crates).

    i'd say, depending on what class you play more, try to open crates with their weapon in it. so if you dont get hats or strange parts, at least you'll get a strange weapon that you'll use.
    i have a *few* extra crates, collected over the last year if you need any in particular.

    Depends on the goal. If your goal is to get a specific item, you would be better trading for it. If you are in it for the gamble but still want to maximize your output, use this spreadsheet as reference:

    It tells you what crate will give you the most return for your key (you know on those rare cases you don't get an unusual ;))
