Don't Want To Get Caught

I want to send an anonymous e-mail to my boss with information as to how a fellow employee is stealing inventory. I don't want to be identified as the person doing it. (very mature I know) I have sent e-mails to my boss from home before. If I send an e-mail with a new e-mail account, but through my computer and att modem that has sent e-mails to the boss before, what is the probability they would know the e-mail came from me? The employee doing the stealing is his son. The site being sent to is a public high school.

I believe that there would be serious consequences if he reacted to you in a negative way for bringing this to his attention. It is definitely easier to say than do (I understand), but I really believe that being mysterious about it may cause more problems than it would solve. I think you'd be better off going to your boss in a very professional manor with examples detailed and laying out what you're seeing at work. I would hope that he'd respect your honesty and professionalism and deal with the issue at hand rather than make your life hell because you "ratted out his family". Again, I know it's easier said than done, but I think this may be the better route to go. Good luck with whatever road you take! :)
