Ubuntu server iso md5 matches, but within the iso some files are wrong.

So I'm trying to install Ubuntu server 11.04 (this pc has issues with newer versions) on a pc, and the md5 of the iso matches the one on the ubuntu site, but in the iso, if I compare specific files to the MD5SUM.txt file in the root, the md5 sums don't match, the only way I can think of that this is possible is that the iso has errors in it that were included in the md5 hash, but the correct md5 sums are in the md5sum.txt file. What can I do? It won't install properly.
