Need help with my Hardrive.

Okay, so here's the deal.
I'm using two hardrives. One's Local Disk (C:) and the other is OLDDRIVE (E:). I want to put everything onto OLDRIVE (E:), it has about 950 gb of space.

So, I'm starting off with the basics, installing Steam so I can download & install other games.
I download the Steam setup, save it to OLDRIVE (E:) in a temp folder, then proceed to install / run the setup.
It says: 'Computing space requirements', then gives this error immidiately afterwards: "Error 1327. Invalid Drive F:\"

I've already installed a game onto OLDRIVE (E:) and it didn't give me any error similar to this one.

By any chance could anyone help me with this problem? I googled to find find a remedy to the issue and there doesn't seem to be any similar issues / threads online about this...

Sadly it did not work, I'm still having the same problem.

You may need to do some fun with re-lettering drives. Sometimes Steam randomly decides it will not accept non-contiguous lettering. Other times it litters the registry with random crap that the "fixer" doesn't find. I would recommend manually searching the registry for the string "Steam" which should turn up the keys it didn't clean up.

Did you try searching "Error 1327" on Youtube? There are a few videos on it, but I'm unfamiliar with the error, so I'm not sure if they'll help.
