First update: Installed A Game of Dwarves today, I previously held 4 hours in it but something exists which is absolutely game breaking for me.

Anytime you alt tab in and out the game suffers from atrocious framerate stuttering and the only fix is to save and reboot. While it's not too big an issue it's definitely killing any immersion I had prior.

... so don't alt-tab? Just play, that should help your immersion.

I've been playing more A Game of Dwarves recently and I've got a number of problems with it so far.

The lag problem I encountered does not originate from alt-tabbing but is apparently just an issue of poor optimization. From what I've been able to find just about everyone who's played the game encounters unbearable lag after a good 10 minutes of digging, gathering resources, or once they've hit 10 or more Dwarves.

Unfortunately the game cannot be played properly with the starting Dwarves and it cannot be played at all once you get to the root of the game...digging.

Yet another thing I noticed is that A Game of Dwarves has received zero support from Paradox Interactive since it's release on Steam, in fact it appears that it's been forgotten about altogether.

If this continues as it is I may write a very negative review simply because of the lag issue (Though the game itself doesn't have much going for it when it IS working)
