I still have 4 or 5 games before Amnesia... but the suspense is kinda killing me. Knowing it looming there... after Alan Wake and Alpha Protocol. Waiting quietly, patiently, to extract my brown batter.

Another day, another dungeon, as in I reached the dungeon level tonight, prolly gonna push on through it tomorrow. Aside from one moment where I opened a door and immediately slammed it, I'm not feeling the fear. :/

I'm not far behind you. Just finished the watery cellar and got to the back hall. Not sure if I'm just immune to this type of fear, but I tend to abstract it and see it from a game mechanic standpoint. I guess I'm not the intended audience for this kind of game, because I don't get too immersed, and thus the game is just sort of boring. I feel like "I wish I could move faster" or "I wish I could do this-or-that". Instead, I feel like I'm just walking through halls and I'm supposed to be scared, but mostly I just want to get to the next story bit and I find the long walking and anxiety-building to be annoying.

Yeah, I feel ya. To be perfectly honest the game so far has felt incredibly linear and fairly simple. The puzzles are cool, but I'm not nearly as immersed as I think I'd have to be. I find most of the "scary" effects almost annoying (random crying bothers me) and it kinda sucks that there's no way to fight back against the environment/monster thing.

Haven't updated due to having large amounts of study for school, and my tolerance for games at Amnesia's pace is relatively low, so I usually play in small increments. Also, League of Legends.

it was boring me to the point of sleep in my completely dark room with just me in it. I feel really bad for not being able to get completely through it in one go, but it seems my attention span for games that I don't find so interesting is lower than I thought.
