Day 143: I told Dan that I felt I surely must be at least halfway through Chrono Trigger, but he informed me that I am actually closer to about a tenth of the way. I proceeded to get black out drunk for the first time since EPIC '12.

Day 144: Made breakfast this morning... carefully avoided eye contact with my roommate Robby who, in my drunken stupor, I physically assaulted in an attempt to tickle. Plans to continue on with Chrono Trigger, which from here on in will be referred to as The 10th Circle, will go ahead as scheduled once I am home from work today.

I didn't have this much fun playing Chrono Trigger, then again I didn't finish it. When I started playing a friend watched me and that made him want to play it again. He eventually got past me and I stopped playing and just watched him play. Then he beat the game, that was nice.

Today: After months of toiling away in JRPG land, getting back to HL2 Episode 1 was kind of like peeing in my own toilet after having been at a friend's house for a week. Forgot how much I loved this game.

I now remember why I forgot I loved this game: Ant Lions. I hate them, and they clearly hate me. It's okay, though, because I have my sidekick with me, and she has infinite ammo. Sometimes I shoot her when she gets in my way, but I get more of a reaction out of her when I shine the flashlight in her face. I tried pushing her in to an Ant Lion pit to block the onslaught, but the game prefers I use cars and trucks for that particular errand. Sometimes I wonder why she can't be the one to die all the time. I don't like when my screen turns red, and I can see her running around shooting Ant Lions with her infinite artillery. It should have been me.
