Looking for Legend of Zelda emulators

Creeperbane2Creeperbane2 Victorian ScoundrelIndianapolis, IN Icrontian
Feeling a bit nostalgic recently, was wanting to get back into Zlelda but in a world where even a copy of Ocarina of Time will run you $50-$100 on amazon (I am broke 99% 'o the time) it seems an emulator would be my best bet, so if anyone has some advice here's what I'm looking for:
-Any Game
-Of decent quality
-Can run from a laptop with reasonable success
-safe
-free

  • Icrontic will shy away from suggesting anything that infringes a developers copyright. To be vague, yes there are good Nes and Snes emulators and roms littered across the net. My suggestion though? Get the real old school feel with the wii virtual console and classic control. It's worth buying a used wii for that alone. Games on VC are cheap too. Ten bucks for OOT

Cliff is correct.Emulation of console games on a PC is not an acceptable topic on the forums as it promotes copyright infringement.

If you have a Wii or 3DS you can play just about any Zelda game legally.

Legend of Zelda OOT is less than $10 on Wii VC. The remake for 3DS is also awesome. Emulating them is illegal, as they are still actively copyrighted by Nintendo.
