Expo 2013 Makeup Sessions
Hi Folks,
For those that don't know me, I am *slightly* obsessed with makeup. I know that makeup might not be the first thing that you think of when you think of Icrontic, but some basic knowledge and solid application of makeup can be the start of a great cosplay or Halloween costume. I wouldn't be giving makeovers; these would more like lessons that would hopefully give you the some knowledge and confidence in the area of special fx or beauty makeup. So, would anyone be interested in a makeup workshop at Expo 2013? This can go a few ways:
1. A 45-60 minute class that goes over basic special fx. We'd go over things like using liquid latex, applying simple prosthesis, stippling, simple blending, face paint-y stuff, etc.
2. A 45-60 minute class going over beauty makeup. This would be more for everyday wear and we'd go over a basic smoky eye, winged eyeliner, blush and contour placement, etc.
3. Individual 20-40 minute sessions. This would be for anyone who has a specific character, look or idea in mind. We'd review your idea and go over an individualized plan of how to make that character/look work for you. This could be for special fx or beauty. I'd limit these to the first 6-8 people and we'd fit them in between your other events/sessions.
Would any of these interest any of you? Which of the above scenarios are you most interested in? Let me know-thanks!

Kinda bummed I won't be attending Expo this year because I was REALLY looking forward to this part (costume and SFX especially). Is there any way some videos could be captured and shared later covering techniques and such? It may be a long shot, but I have to ask
No worries, thanks for checking for me!
I need to start getting some commitments for this because there will be a small (under $5.00) materials fee. Please let me know if you are planning on attending. This makeup class is NOT a glamour/every day makeup kind of thing! we will be doing stuff with more of a stage makeup bent, plus latex prosthetics and an introduction to mold-making. There will also be a hands on activity and a take-home goodie bag!
Please let me know if you are attending!
I am seriously so excited to be sharing all this stuff with you guys and I can't wait to see everyone!
