there's this, and then there's a backlog of shame for old school:
i'm talking about trying to do a backlog of shame with NES / SNES games. On the actual console, not emulator.

anyone wants to follow me in my madness?

just for fun, here's my list of NES games:
    Double Dragon
Dungeon Magic: Swords of the Elements
    Dr. Mario
    Kung Fu
    Ninja Gaiden
Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos
    Super Mario / Duck Hunt
    Super Mario 2
    The Little Mermaid
The Mutant VIrus "Crisis in a ComputerWorld"
Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Trouble in Wackyland
    Tiny Toon Cartoon Workshop
    Zoda's Revenge: Star Tropics II

saddly i appear to have lost some games (i know i had SMB3 and Yoshi Cookie...) but whatever
also, The Little Mermaid, i can speed run it in roughly 10 min. i use to compete and take bets with my friends... (it was my sister's games, i swear)

removing the games that doesn't have an ending
    Dr. Mario
    Duck Hunt

and i'm in for some hardcore gaming (Dungeon Magic is impossible to finish, so are Double Dragon and Ninja Gaidens)

I would be in for this. Gotta get the ol' NES from Boston. And of course hit up a few amazon deals or yard sales for some games.

Oh god, this would be more dangerous to me than the Steam backlog. Only sad thing is all my retro consoles are in boxes in the attic waiting for this spring, when I convert the place into a retro gaming den
