I am making this thread to spread the word about an awesome new free to play game from the fine folks at Artix Entertainment LLC known as Oversoul. This is a card based PVPMMO currently in open Beta, and all be it still only in beta it is already a nicely developed game with an interesting story. This is because unlike other MMO's in this one you are dead, that's right dead your main character is a spirit. There are also no "classes" there are however characters you can posses. For a stater you can chose between a Barbarian, Young Paladin, Void Knight, Fire Witch, or Lighting Wolf each one with their unique deck of abilities and evolutionary forms as they level up (this is far less Pokemonish than one might think). And there are other hosts that can be possessed throughout the game by way of defeating them in combat. Also in the spirit of a free to play model there is a secondary currency known as Soul Gems these can be used to either purchase characters or tip the scales when attempting to posses them in combat. With excellent art, game play, and music as well as a novel concept and crazy characters like "Pumpkin Lords" and the "Revonthurkey" this is a nice, free, bite sized game. I have enjoyed the stuff that Artix Entertainment has put out, and feel it is good fun for Fantasy RPG players of all ages to enjoy. I pop back into AQWorlds every now and then to see what's up and maybe upgrade my look with the awesome amount of unique loot. (Except that one sword design that I've seen all over and a not sure what is the original incarnation of the design.)
