I have a 4800+ X2 cpu and I want to replace it. Looking for the best AM2 + socket Cpu I can get my hands on. Anyone know where they are still lurking around?

The best CPU supported by that motherboard is the Phenom II X4 945. Socket AM3 chips are backwards compatible with AM2+ motherboards.

Nice, I was thinking they might be backwards compatible, and for 99 bucks its totally worth the upgrade.

According to Asus I just need to flash the bios for it to be good to go!

Yep, just make sure to flash the BIOS *before* you install the new CPU.
