60 Songs, One Minute Each

I want to take a CD and have 60 seconds of 60 different songs.

Like, I want to take 60 different MP3s and have 60 tracks and each track should be one minute long. I couldn't think of any ways to do this that wouldn't be ridiculously difficult, I mean it would be okay if it were only ONE track with 60 seconds of each song in it as well, the basic idea is looking for an easy way to get one minute of a bunch of songs so I can put them on a CD.

Kinda bizzarre question, its for a drinking game. Lemme know if anyone has any ideas!

    Convert 'em all to wave files and cut them down to 1 minute?

    probably not the best suggestion you will get, but you could use a mp3 editor to break them all up. Like cool edit pro.
    A little time consuming but it would work none the less

    A man by the name of Guy Livingston just performed here last week. He traded a bottle of Jack Daniels to a couple hundred composers around the world to send him 60-second songs for the piano. He tours now playing the songs, and they're really good. He put out a CD, so maybe you could find it... just a thought. Not sure how good quasi-classical music would be for drinking :)

    There must be some burning software that allows you to specify a length of the song to burn, ie, clip it to one minute....

    This one allows trimming of MP3's, but it's shareware, so I don't know if it lets you access that feature right away or not. Give it a try.

    If that won't work for you, I can write something in java that'll shorten songs.
