Hey guys~ I wanted to run the memtest program but I only have Nero express and I'm not sure how to create the bootable CD from the ISO that I downloaded. Some help would be appreciated

easy one...open nero express, click "disk image or saved project" and in the file type select "Image files(*.nrg,*.iso,*.cue)" and then browse to the file and select the iso to burn.

    w00t!

Make sure you have Memtest86+ (the one from www.memtest.org) instead of Memtest86 3.0 (from www.memtest86.com) - it supports all the latest chipsets/processors/etc.

In Nero Express, just do "burn disk image". If you have windows XP, you can right click on it and it will just offer you the option to burn it.

Otherwise, download a 30 day trial of Nero (full) and you can do it that way.

Try changing the file extension on the ISO to *.nrg, then just double click it within My Computer. It should start up your nero program automatically. I'm assuming that Nero Express can burn images. I've never used the express version so I don't know for sure. You may have to experiment with the block/iso settings but there aren't that many combinations and nero usually guesses it right for me.

Wow am I retarded. I tried that the first time... didn't try the drop down menu for file type. It starts you out on Nero compilation files, hence my problem.

I never knew about the trick with Nero Express, I just right clicked my ISO's and clicked open with and chose Nero.
