How to connect to ICMinecraft?

I got the new launcher thing for 1.6, and it made it Minecraft 1.7.4 without asking. The Icrontic server says "Can't connect to server." Now what?

That will do it. Use method 1. We are on 1.6.4

On the launcher screen in the bottom left hand corner there is an edit profile button. Click that and in the "use version" dropdown, select 1.6.4. That should allow you to connect to the server on the current version.

Got it, thanks guys. Killed an hour putzing around in my house, building over-complicated stairs, and remembering how to do anything.

Is the server down? I cannot connect.

Yes, server was down. Introduced a bug when editing the service init script. It has been fixed and the server is back up.
