radeon 9500 pro mod?

ok folks, here´s the deal.... my card is a 9500 pro ( so it says on the card) with 128mb and 3.3 ns ram....yesterday i used the rivatuner to try and mod my card, and surprise it did! so i think... i was doubting if the card wasnt a 128mb only, but it has the ram in straight line, and when i run the catalyst driver control panel, in the adapter it reads 9700 and i can overclock the card using radclocker..can anyone help to understand this? how can i read my card system bus? thank you...

    I think I'm right in saying it will still only be running a 128bit bus and 4pixel pipeline, the only difference is that you can now overclock it. Use rivatuner and you'll see that it states Radeon 9....(4x1) in the appropriate tab. If look in the low level diagnostics tab of rivatuner I think it states in there what card sytem bus is.

    it reads 8x1 with 128 ddr memory, but the 9500 pro has 8 pipelines, the difference is in the memory bus....how can i read this value?

    more precisely it reads 128-bit (8x1) with 128 ddr memory...the radeon 9700 has 256-bit doesnt it?

    Oops sorry I forgot, its the 9500np that only has 4 pipelines. Yes the radeon 9700 has a 256 bit bus. Yours cant and wont have one (256bit bus) because its the wrong style pcb.

    Bus type DDR, Bus Width 128bit.....128x2(ddr)???

    The RAM chips need to be in the shape of an L and not in a straight line. The PCB does not have the right traces to support 8 pipelines, only 4.

    ok, guess i just unlocked the card bios...but dont i need to flash the bios with warp11? is there any unlocked 9500 pro? the aida 32 program reads chiptype:radeon 9700..... and even before i overclocked it i was getting better 3dmark 2001 scores (after i used rivatuner and before overclock) does anyone know what is going on? my memory bus in aida reads DDR type 128 bit....help please....thanks
