    Yes, Markdown can keep formatting in quoted text.

    Here's a place to test, you can quote any of my messages to see how markdown formatting works. Feel free to add your own text with formatting in this thread, to learn how and not be embarrassed by mis-formatted text in threads where you want it to look right.
