So who has it? Who is getting it? Who wants to play it tonight? Who will make a mumble channel for it?

I had a few hours to play this morning before work, and so far I think it's pretty solid. Once we give it the good old Icrontic work over though I am sure we can find some great strategy for it.

    Initial thoughts:

    Always-on mic? What.

    Over-the-shoulder is... abrasive.

    The game's FOV is claustrophobic.

No server browsing? No friend joining?

Wish there were more weapon diversity with each class.

So the mic being stuck open pretty much ruins the game. Hopefully that's fixed soon.

The field of view is a serious bummer. I cannot stand the third-person (third-plant?) view. :(

Origin's "Featured Today" is just perfect.

Played a couple more rounds tonight. I can see the funpotential.

It reminds me of MvM in a lot of ways: waves of bots, and instead of upgrades you buy more towers (plants).

I just cannot get over the view :-/

    This was fun.

I have mainly been playing the cactus class and discovered that the tallnut battlement can be used fairly effectively to coral enemies in a direction. I notice that when a few of these are set up in a group players will think that something important is in that area and can be picked off from a distance while trying to find out what you are pretending to hide. I'm sure as everyone learns the game this will become less effective though.
