Comparing album and singles sales now to album and singles sales in the 50s and 60s is completely futile. As of yet, there is not a band or artist in history that has made more hit records in as short period of time as The Beatles. It doesn't seem plausible that any genre of music will penetrate the entire world audience like Rock N Roll did. Honestly, the more I read this the more I hate whoever wrote it.

I recently found "Every Subway Car" by Barenaked Ladies, and I'm loving it. Catchy tune, great lyrics, and as an artist, the concept/story makes me all warm and fuzzy inside!

Not quite the upbeat dance-a-thon I'm used to on a Monday, but I love the lyrics.
How am I supposed to have fun with a Nintendo 61?
The Civil Wars remind me of the lead in song to Justified on FX. AWESOME show.
What.
