I'm still listening to Portishead - Machine Gun (which I never would have listened to, had it not been for this site). Also, two songs by local (to Cincinnati) bands; one of them fronted by a friend of mine:
Black Pharaoh - Denim Denise (also...interestingly-placed text):
The Kickaways - Fake Blood:
And this, because it's awesome... Queens of the Stone Age - Smooth Sailing:
Recently re-found this. Guy I used to work nights at Target gave me a burned copy of this album, said it was "pretty different". He used to draw female figures on medium-sized paper, using charcoal and pencils. He was tall, and shaved his head, didn't talk much. You... probably won't like it, but sometimes it's nice to sit back and not enjoy something for awhile.

+ karaoke + friends + Canti (while Canti > 4 $1 margaritas) = good times.

How has this been out for like a year and I just found out?
This album is very, very fun. Learning to play the bass lines hurts my hands though.
Japanese Girl Death Metal
New girlband bullshit.
Thanks @oni_dels
french electro-swing ftw.
swedish electro-swing is also nice
Arch Enemy has a new singer, and she's from Montreal.
the Agonist's Alissa White-Gluz.
Broken Bells!
Not new, but the video is pretty neat.
I'm not saying it's good, but it gives me some nostalgia. Nostalgia of a time when I had awful taste in music.
