thus far they haven't worked well at all, my system is slow and keeps crashing and basically not behaving well. going back to 4.1's assuming i can find them somewhere

did you uninstall 4.1's before installing 4.2's or did you just install right over them? Just curious really.

And you wonder why the system went unstable? Failure behind the wheel in this case i must say. ALWAYS clean the old drivers off before installing new sets.

ATI have made an easy uninstaller.
It removes all traces of Ati drivers.
