I forgot to get a screen but imagine a similar situation to my Messerschmit but in a Ju-87 R-2 (Long range stuka)
I was returning to base last member of my team alive, had just delivered my payload. Less than a Kilometre to my landing field a Yak comes out of nowhere, kills my gunner and shoots up my engine enough to give me a fuel leak.
Rest of the flight back (I was keeping to valleys and hills) he couldn't line up a clear shot on me. Last stretch an enemy LAGG comes out of nowhere, finishes off my engine but I ripped off his wing with my puny 7.92mm guns.
Still landed the fucker, killed the Yak (Who tried to dive attack a stationary Stuka while my guns pointed at him.) and started repairs, still in the fight and it's myself versus one last LAGG. I didn't expect to win but during the repairs it says that my team had no vehicles left (Bullshit I was repairing, albeit missing my tail end) and the enemy won.
Probably my best flight yet but damn I would've at least liked the chance to see if a Stuka could go up against a designated fighter.
Played with this a bit last night, you're going to want a joystick to have fun in this game.
Edit for clarification: I feel I was fighting the controls more than I should have been because I didn't have a joystick. It's just the nature of the game. You're going to be limited in controls if you're using a keyboard and mouse to control a plane. However, it does look like a lot of fun.
