Expo 2015: Event Planner - deadline 15 April
I'm planning to start registration a little later than usual this year (if you're curious, the price structure will likely be identical to 2014). In the meantime, it's time to start considering our schedule. Looking for thoughts on what we should keep, add, or jettison. Generally, the previous showrunner has right of first denial on repeating again in 2015.

If you want to throw an idea in the ring, keep in mind what a reasonable run time would be, including any travel and cat herding. We have extremely limited space so it's not easy to make the final cut. It also can mean missing an event earlier in the day to prepare.

Want adventure ropes course again.
I am certain that @CB and I will run the Duct Tape Challenge again, and I will likely do another shave workshop depending upon the interest level.

I had some great ideas for this year's wine tasting, but everything has just been really hard because, let's face it, broken bones suck. I'm glad that @HumerusMeg and @Tushon that are taking point on this! Cheers and I promise I'll be back and better than ever in 2016!
We're going to be waiting until April to start ticket sales this year. This is mostly because everyone bought their ticket in either Feb or April/May anyway, and we have some more prep we want to do for it this year.
We're also ditching the "Food Tour" this year in favor of simply getting solid, local selections for dinner Thu-Sat. In other words: same format, minus the stress of finding novel & scalable places every year.
Had to run out of new places which are able to feed us eventually.
Prizes will be same format as last year: largely community-driven. We'll have some Icrontic swag, Vanilla is chipping in t-shirts, and hopefully our folks in the industry will hook us up with some sweet giveaways. If you or your company want to donate prizes, contact Brian or me between now and June.
FYI I am planning on doing a ropes course again. it was too damn fun to NOT do again
Mert and I are considering doing another brewing demo. Would probably need to be a first thing AM thing because its typically a few hour process, but its something people can just check in on and observe.
Would there be any interest in a crafting circle/tea time? Basically we just bring crafts and chat. Heh.
If by "craft" you mean "drink craft beer" then yes. Yes there is interest.

I don't think I will do a "long term" this year, the times people are there are just too dynamic for any time frame to be fair.
I liked the idea of the "decathlon" last year, teams played each other in 3 different games. I remember Worms and we tried to play a CS game of some sort but fell back to L4d2? I had fun helping run it off the cuff. Would be interested in helping with that sort of thing again.
Just to throw it in the bin. I know nothing of it but would be happy to learn to run or help run a Garry's Mod server for games like prop hunt.
