i found that windows has an alarm clock now, but it doesnt look at the music library for alarm sounds...anyone know how to do that? it would be really awesome to wake up to my music every morning (and on my awesome speakers no less.) other options that occur to me are to move my music to whatever folder it does look at(if i could find it), or an altogether different (but tried and true) program that someone can recommend. though do to my internet, downloading anything is not possible for a week or 2, so that is a last resort for me.

I don't know about a built-in alarm clock outside of maybe using task scheduler. I was realllllllly tempted to lmgtfy, but I didn't.

Seems to be a possibility, but that would probably be the same music. Maybe rig up a playlist to auto-play and have shuffle defaulted to on in whatever app you are using?
I did this with a very small shell script in Linux years ago... then I realized leaving my computer running just for the alarm clock is really wasteful of electricity. I went back to just using my alarm set to a radio station that I liked.
There was a really good alarm plug-in for Winamp. I just use my phone now, though.
