I am a little bummed I won't be sharing and discovering good whiskeys with fellow whiskey drinkers.
A limited whiskey tasting would be fine if it was strictly a tasting someone was running for an hour. Or, yes, a trip to Two James - they do tasting flights. Brian and I have run the A/B test on Expo liquor many times now and the conclusion is: the liquor ban is important.

Speaking of the prize table: I have to be frank with everyone and just say that the golden age of a prize table full of hardware is over. We don't write reviews anymore and have pretty much lost all of our relationships with hardware companies so don't expect a grand ol' prize table this year

This is not why I come to Expo, nor will it change my opinion of Expo.

Is there an official mobile communication app for the event?
There will be, but I'm not sure what it will be yet. In the past we've used Groupme, mostly because it works for people without smart-phones, but last year it let us down by not allowing us to add people to the groupme group during the event, so we'll probably switch to something new. I'm researching alternatives presently.

So… Is there going to be a Magic draft?
I believe @Colgere has organized it in the past.
Yes. If I don't hear from Ben soon I'll be organizing it.
I'm not going to make it this year, so feel free to organize as you wish @Linc.
We'll miss you Ben
Would sure like to see some more registrations! Bompz!
Man.. I really need to get the server out and fired up.
I wonder if I should put one of these in it: http://ocz.com/enterprise/z-drive-4500/specifications
No, you should send one of those to me for safe keeping.
Nah, but you can feel free to put one on the prize table

I'll just wait here next to the Red Carpet and wait for @UPSLynx to buy his ticket.
@HumerusMeg and I are making the pilgrimage with some extra passengers:
DAT PRICKLY PEAR
Also, bring one of these plz. We'll need it.
Buy Expo tickets, make request. Not the other way around
It was so limited edition that they only made 10 of them, iirc.
Sadly, I will not be able to make it this year due to competing obligations. On a related note, the next SpaceX Dragon launch is scheduled for June 26.
You don't even know if you like this beer.... SILLY. WE ARE BRINGING OVER 100 SHINER BEERSSSSS = BETTER!
I did have the Pearl Snap from Austin Beer Works. It was hella tasty. Looking forward to trying some of those Shiner seasonals!
Nah. Massive 99 beer box plz.
Is there an official mobile communication app for the event?
Yep. It's called shout. The way it works is you yell loudly "HEY GUYS WHAT ARE WE DOING NEXT?" or "HEY WHO WANTS TO GET FOOD?"

Groupme seemed to work... It seemed like more of specific people that had problems. We can give it a whirl, say now, and see if it works better.
What about reviving the IC Hangout?
