WMA, I hate it.

I am looking for a real solution to a very frustrating issue.
I hate .wma files and the DRM that is forced on me.
I have a hand full of Christian songs that my wife has downloaded in the .wma format, they were PAID for and now we can't use them. Windows Media Player tells me i don't have the rights to these files.:mad2: I don't honestly know what site she got them from. I just want the ability to play them on her computer and to be able to put them on her MP3 player.
I will pay for whatever software that will give me a REAL solution.
I don't have an ipod, and itunes does not play with non-apple mp3 players.

So first things first. Can you open those songs in itunes? If you can't then syncing up your mp3 player to itunes doesn't really matter at this point.
