    I've been saying that Civ needs Hexes for so long. I'm glad they finally listened. :)

    Also, I have a feeling it will be on steam at launch, and the internet matchmaking will be far superior to Civ 4's PTBS system.

    I skipped Civ IV because I didn't see it as too far advanced over Civ III, but Civ V looks mighty tempting.

    Oh man. I've been playing Civ games since shortly after the release of the first one, and I'm still terrible. I almost never win, and I usually get the Dan Quayle rating at the end, but I still can't stop playing.

    I haven't picked up a Civ game since the original (1 single 3.5" floppy, can you believe it?!), but I might have to look into this one for sure.

    I considered it Cherplunka, I really did, but I knew that eventually, someday, in some place, you would catch wind of this news. Heck, maybe it would happen to you at work, and then what? You buy up the stock? Brain overload?

    I had to do it. The world needed to know.

    Man I have been playing civ since number 1. 28 straight hours the first game. I think there is still a place for turn bases games, And I do my best to support them.

    I mean, I also suck and would love to join your game. I think I've only played against real people a couple of times. I usually play coop with a friend of mine to kill all the AIs.
