On average, we sell 8-12 tickets in the last week of sales, so the gap is perhaps 10 tickets. There are 40+ of you. If you all try to bring a friend, a 25% success rate gets you there.

Are the two not cumulative goals?
Not clear what you mean. It was an either/or goal. You could argue that sponsor-level is a fairly static % of sales, but that goal was to see if we could raise it significantly.

So... kiddie pool with bubbles powered by beer farts?
I will reluctantly venture that we could do this for about $900 if folks wanna fundraise for it (I could squeeze about $500 out of Expo funds for the rest). I’m not gonna solicit it, but feel free to PM me if anyone wants to “invest” in a silly project and I’ll post if we get enough. Let’s set a deadline of one week - I’ll need time to coordinate shipping etc still. If you don’t hear from me assume it didn’t happen.

I'm willing to show up a day or two early and volunteer my "craftsman" skills to make it happen if that would help in any way. PM me tentative plans/ideas. I may be able to figure a way to cut costs and make it happen.

Can I send some friends I don't like on their own? They likely all have mouths.

It’s not really a building project, it’s more a “buy the critical pieces from Amazon and arrange it” project. Not a ton of leeway to do it nicely.

Hey @cola got a friend to sign up!
If @cola gets 5 new friends to show up, I'm pretty sure he becomes King Of The Oasis. That's just science.
Less than 18 hours remaining in ticket sales!
Final score was 46 total tickets (9 shy), 10 sponsors (5 shy). Sorry folks, no tiki oasis.

Seems only logical

Was counting on it.
I recommend we not do this project.

I think that was the point
That kiddie pool @UPSLynx posted a picture of is looking pretty good now

I appreciated the offer tho!
