hehe - I dunno man, I think we might have the same volume, but different dimensions.

Mine is a hollowed-out mountain and I started from the top, I think I overestimated the benefit of doing that vs. starting deeper - seems like you get more minerals the closer to the earth's core you go, all I got was a lot of rock

where X is rock and O is planks. I'll make a test wood tower later and try to make a fireplace, I'm curious about this as well.

Well, I had it completely encased in stone so I'm not sure what happened. I suppose it doesn't matter, since I'm not trying it again.
