Times that I posted in the other thread are now tentative due to possible flight changes but should be in the same ballpark of times. Will move that info here when solidified.
@Myrmidon your flight from Detroit to LA is right about the same time as ours. You have the option of heading along with us if needed. Of note, do not sign up for the Spirit Credit Card if offered while on your flight. They will promise you enough points for 3 round trip flights (1500) and you will later find out that they do indeed, if you are jotting to Las Vegas or Sac Town from LA within a specific 3 weeks span. In total it is 25% short on points for a 1 way ticket to Detroit (2000 1 way). Fuck those guys. Also print out your boarding pass at home and bring water, peanuts and a pillow/blanket if you want it. They will Jefferson and Hamilton you for each of the above if you want them while in flight.

Flight is probably best, but a train lets you bring more stuff. Either way, the Icrontic Taxi Service will pick you up from the airport or the train station.
