Battlefront II (6 hours): Played a few hours with a friend in multiplayer which was kind of fun since we would both go on runs in the more open maps but indoor maps had such terrible chokes the general lag and some of the faster paces animations made playing the game unfriendly. I was just going to finish the campaign before hanging everything up since the game was free however the game crashes any where between 10 to 30 minutes for me. I dragged my ass through the first campaign and started the second one but couldn't hang on when dealing with 3 crashes in the first mission. So done and get away from me. I think I need to stop playing online multiplayer games and just have a happier single player experience like Mass.

Control (25.6 hours): I really enjoyed playing this game. The plot seemed to just drop characters and sub stories pretty regularly which was aggravating since it felt like huge holes were left in their wake but the atmosphere was extremely enjoyable. Only caveat I have with this game is you need the DLC because it provides a whole campaign with Alan Wake cross over plus some origination background for the Bureau of Control. Several of the boss fights felt like utter cheese BS where you have to get lucky and good. The main story was probably 10 hours while all the side missions and just exploring was the rest, and I didn't finish everything. There is apparently a super secret outfit unlock of cat ears and some of the secrets you have to figure out are pretty crazy.

Monday
7-8pm - Opening Ceremony: Gather together and say "Hi". We'll go over the schedule and introduce some events and how to participate. (Free Gathering)
8-10pm - Discord Werewolf Introduction: Required attendance for anyone playing Discord Werewolf. We will go over the roles and address any questions that arise. Roles will be assigned afterwards and we will start the game. (Free to play.)
10-11pm - Discord Werewolf Day 1: We'll resolve all of the start-game events and go through the first days voting process while continuing to answer any further questions.
11pm-1am - Icrontic Plays Lewd Visual Novels: There are decisions to be made and we will make them as a group. We'll start up a novel and go until the end or it gets boring. If we have time and/or there is interest, we'll start up another. (Free to Play)
1am - Valorant Dailys: We'll play a few games. If you are new to the game, feel free to ask questions. Fun times shooty booty focusing on daily tasks for a bit of XP. (Free to play. Requires Install and Riot Account.)
Tuesday
12-3pm - Takov Challenges: Nada to Reshala. Escape From Tarkov is described as one of the most hardcore and difficult FPS available. Players will start with nothing and work as a group to take down the Customs Scav Boss, Reshala. Then we will hold his position for as long as possible. Those of us that can will stream our POVs so non-players can watch the excitement and ask any questions they may have. (Game Purchase Required. Not Friendly to First Time Players or experienced players for that matter)
3-6pm - Payday 2: We'll mask up and run through some heists. We'll run some classic and some new missions and get our bank roll goin. (Game Purchase Required. Friendly to First Time Players.)
6-9pm - Carcassonne Tourney: Board Game Master CB will lead players through this classic Expo event. (Free to play. Board Game Arena account required.)
9-11pm - Golf With Your Friends: Super silly Mini-Golf. (Game Purchase Required. Friendly to First Time Players.)

12-2pm - Terraria: Over a half million positive reviews on steam can not be wrong. Simple on the surface but difficulty added with depth. 2-6pm - Railroad Ink Tourney: CB is back with another online board game tourney. This time featuring the puzzle game Railroad Ink. Who will reign as the master of routing the rails? (Free to play. Board Game Arena account required.)

6-10pm Casino Night: Run around the Four Kings Casino with fellow Icrontians. Of coarse there is Slots but there is also Craps and Roulette. If cards are more your style, there is Poker and Blackjack to fill your need. New for this event, we've got a Beach House! 10pm-1am - Late Night LOL: League of Legends is one of the biggest free to play game out there. League has been around for over a decade and has over a hundred champions to choose from. We'll break up into teams and tackle the rift or just mess about on the bridge.

1-3:30pm - Murder Mystery: The Assassin Among The Crew. The Sphere of Solidarity controls the peace and harmony within the Universe. The Sphere was recently transported from Area 51 to the Space Station Phoenix (SSP)– an exclusive, top-secret project. There have been rumblings that an enemy spy has infiltrated one of the three organizations who oversee and operate the station. If anything happens to The Sphere, the Universe will be catapulted into a dangerous state of disarray as never seen before. You are part of the Firedrake crew who is on the station for a six-month stay. This is where your story begins. ($10 to play. Played on IC Discord.)
3:30-5:30pm - Among Us: Arweeeen is a bit sus, don't you think? Emergency Meeting! (Game Purchase Required on PC or Free to Play on Mobile)

The International is upon us again! Join me for viewing fun!
The International is back after being delayed in 2020 because of Covid. The biggest Dota 2 (and esports) tournament in the world is back with an over $40 million USD prize pool. We've got tons of interesting stories (can OG even make it to TI? If they do, will they 3 peat? Will they get a ton of hate?) and some classic names from TIs past still competing
4 teams have qualified so far:
- Evil Geniuses (EG)
- Virtus.Pro (VP)
- Invictus Gaming (IG)
- Team Secret
There are 14 spots remaining, so lots of Dota to be played to see who can get into the big one for these pros. Here are the current Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) standings. The top 12 teams in the DPC qualify for the International. The remaining 6 spots will be determined by regional qualifiers, those are last chance tournaments where the winners go, everyone else stays home.
Currently the WePlay AniMajor in Kiev is happening and providing teams with the ability to earn additional points to qualify for The International. Majors are invite tournaments that involve teams from around the world.
Wild Card matches have already started, as teams jockey for position and attempt to get as many points as they can. I'd love to watch games with other Icrontians, but the schedule for these games can be odd as they happen in local time (Kiev in this case, so matches are happening right as I'm typing this).
If live match viewing can work, I'd love to do it. If not I'd love to get together and watch some game VODs/Replays. I'm planning to do a little bit of casting to provide context for folks who don't know the game, so any additional help there would be welcome!

…and a couple people have already asked how they get one.
He’s not kidding about having conversations about the car. In the six days I’ve owned it I’ve talked to two people waiting for the light to change, one in the parking lot of my local cider shop (and one inside said taproom, but that was to let me know the lights were on), and several with coworkers who saw the photo on my work laptop during a meeting.
10/10 would import again
