Waterman makes good shit. I have an S0920850, not a fountain pen, but the one I use to write letters (i'm old fashioned a bit) or sign checks.

I love fountains. The only one I've bought so far, though, is the Waterman S0485220 - the Carene. Only problem is that I so rarely write that I don't get much opportunity to use it. :/

Any fountain pen nerds on Icrontic?
Anyone else think fountain pens are kinda cool? It kinda hits the same buttons in terms of appeal as mechanical watches does for me. They're all over the spectrum in terms of price and features, from $3 Chinese specials to stupid expensive one-offs made by artisans in tiny shops. And then you tack on the plethora of inks and nibs so you can get the perfect color and line weights...
I just ordered a Pilot Metropolitan and can't wait to try it. Another entry-level pen I considered was the Lamy AL-star. Both have solid reviews for being affordable and reliable.

Raid Summary 12/6 - 12/7 2015
SOCRETHAR DOWN! 8/13 Heroic HFC

Sorry, Socrethar. We killed you twice. Now stay down.
This week's raid was grand: we absolutely plowed through our obligatory normal HFC Mannoroth/Archimonde kill, and absolutely rolled through the bosses of HFC Heroic up to Iskar, recording one-shot kills all the way through. Remember when Iron Reaver used to give us trouble? Yeah those days are over.
Iskar was our roadblock for the last few raids, but on Sunday we clicked into place and had what can be described as a textbook kill: nobody died, everybody did mechanics correctly, and it was butter. Huge props to GSRage for his mega-accurate and super helpful calls during the Eye of Anzu phase.
Then it was back to Socrethar. We tweaked a few things, died a few times, and then suddenly.... in true Icrontic fashion, it clicked. Boom. Done.
We had a couple of attempts on Fel Lord Zakuun and should have no problems downing him next week.
For next week we are going to repeat the current pattern: Normal Mannoroth/Archimonde for a quick ring upgrade, then on to Heroic HFC fresh. It seems like Iskar might be farm status soon, so we should be back plugging away at Zakuun sooner than not. Once we get one more Gorefiend kill, we'll probably be starting HFC at Iskar/Socrethar heroic in future raids.

Unfortunately, the creator found religion and does not plan to include Windows 8 & 10.

FYI, temperature in attic is currently about +15°F outdoor (high 30s vs low 50s), so unless the year ends in a sudden cold snap I expect it to be fairly comfortable up there.
