It is done. The journey was nerve racking but apparently I have at least enough knowledge to not break things as I put them together.

Doesn't look like a lot, most of the hardware installed. Took the video card back out after first attempted boot because I wasn't getting video anywhere. Order of operations was not my strong suit here. Luckily it only cost me a bit of time. I'm ok with that.

DVD drive temporarily installed to install windows. Would be permanent if I could figure out how to take the drive plate/screen off without breaking it. Not a huge loss in my opinion, don't use a physical media drive often at all.

Tried out GTAV this morning. No video chop! Couldn't be happier.
