Re: New WoW expansion to be announced at Gamescom
I'd LOVE to see Arakkoa explored as a playable race. I absolutely adore the sun powers. Imagine ranged physical DPS with chakrams, physical spellcasting, high mobility (short bursts of flight?), SUN LASERS, burst empowerment/buffs, disorients, tons of CC. It would be awesome to have a new "support" paradigm that wasn't strictly heals. This is one of the reasons I love shadow priest utility stuff. Chances of any of this happening? 1-3%.
I'm really expecting that this will be a South Seas expansion with Azshara/Naga lore or an Emerald Dream/Dragon lore expansion.
Lorewise, I'm also pretty burned out on orcs and demons.
Intel launched a new architecture, socket & platform AMAA
- It's codenamed "Skylake."
- It's based on a 14nm process node.
- It uses the Z170 chipset.
- Z170 is socket 1151 (not backwards compatible with any other Intel CPU).
- It's the i5/i7 6000 Series in the market (e.g. i7-6700K).
- CPUs are around $300.
- Z170 mobos are $100-400, depending on BOM.

There is a strange specialized killstreak pinkelephant stickybomb launcher up for only $15.00 right now. That seems underpriced to me, but I also would never buy it. Just thought I'd throw it out here if someone here really wants a sweet pink sticky bomber (that sounds like a drink, or something naughty).
Raid Summary 08/02 - 08/03 2015
It was a weird week but awesome nonetheless; on Sunday we had Aalonz' portal directly to Iskar; we spent several attempts on Iskar and finally got him down with our new team comp; we took a quick breather to get the first boss down (and still no tank shield!), which was a nice break. After that we made a few attempts on Socrethar.
On Monday we lost Aalonz so had to start from the beginning (Iron Reaver), but we absolutely plowed through the first wing and a half of HFC. We one-shot Iron Reaver, Corncob, Council, and Kilrogg. We took a few tries on Gorefriend but eventually got him down, bringing us back to Socrethar.
We had a couple of new attempts on Socrethar, leading to our best attempt yet. He'll be going down shortly 
Next week we're starting fresh HFC Normal again rather than warping to Iskar for two reasons:
1) More tier gear for the raid
2) Our fourth Gorefiend down, which means several of us will have the Iskar portal rather than just one person.
