The only two programming languages I ever learned (and knew pretty well) were ATARI Basic and GFA Basic.
Little-known Primesuspect factoid: At age 14 I actually published a commercial piece of software that I called "SheepCopy". I named myself "Mighty Mighty Software" and sold 10 copies at $15 via the Shareware Freemium model. I made $150 and it was astounding to me that I could make money writing computer programs at the time. I received ten envelopes, hand written, with $15 cash in them from various people around the country. I was THRILLED and my parents thought I was a drug dealer or something.
SheepCopy was specifically for Atari 1040STe computers that had a huge excess of RAM (1 Mb, which was pretty astounding at the time). It would create a 512k RAM Drive at boot and copy a pre-selected handful of programs from the boot floppy onto the RAMdrive, making them much faster and easier to access. It was basically like a 512k hard drive at a time when you still did everything on floppies and only few people had HDs. Sure, when you powered the system down the programs were gone but they were copied to the RAMdrive for performance and convenience, not necessity.
It was pretty cool. Still proud of it.
I wrote it in GFA basic and then re-wrote it in C++ when I learned enough of that. That was the last time I did any programming.

Cooking supplies are covered (fuck ya cast iron). Chipping in for food and beverage is always nice. Most camp sites I've been to have had a picnic table for some seating, but a chair isn't a bad thing to have. If you can get to Columbia, I can get you the rest of the way there.
I have a sleeping bag and chair and can get to Columbia. Now I just have to make sure I can take that Friday off (shouldn't be an issue).

Day One: Summary
After landing at KCI (Kansas City International), we went to where we were staying, which is her friend's home in Raytown, Missouri. (Saves money on lodging! 
) After figuring out which rooms to stay in, we headed out to Nate's Swap Shop, which is held on the grounds of an old drive-in theater. My mother gave me $40 (cash, seeing as the money I have is still on my debit card) and I proceeded to look around. I managed to find some good stuff to take back home to Indianapolis to add to my collection. The items I bought are:

Even though I got a good haul at the Swap Shop, I still plan to go by a few more antique stores to see what i can find.
After that, we went to Cosentino's "Price Chopper" to get some groceries. We came by the house afterwards to drop them off. We then headed down the road to the Truman Sports Complex.
Oh, I forgot to mention that my mom's friend lives right down the road from Arrowhead Stadium (NFL Kansas City Chiefs) and Kauffman Stadium (MLB Kansas City Royals). I should also mention that, as we speak, we are trying to get tickets to the Royals/Tigers game on Thursday, which would be my first Major League Baseball game. (If we are able to go, I'll be rooting for the Royals. If they win, would I be banned from Expo? )
While we were at the sports complex we walked around a bit, sightseeing both Arrowhead and Kauffman. We took pictures, a lot of pictures.
After that we went back to mom's friend's house where I took a nap (still operating on Eastern Time). Afterwards we had hot dogs for dinner.
Anyway, that is Day One. As I finish this post, I look forward to the number of things I will be doing during my stay here in Missouri.

I have to interpret your post as asking me why I'm enthusiastic and taking some cracks at guessing, which are wrong. It's because I have had a fantastic time with Bf3,Bf4,and Hardline. I also love Star Wars. This is a no brainer for me, for you it may be entirely different and that's cool too.

You know what would be fantastic? If this game had the single player experience of Mass Effect and I could use my same character for multiplayer. I don't have a clue how that would be done, but my issue with the battlefield games, if anything, is that the single player doesn't build a character up. There is no investment beyond finish single player for a few more multiplayer perks. If there could somehow be a more fluid experience along with character development across single player and multiplayer that would be sweet. Regardless, I'm excited about what could be the first good star wars fps in quite some time.

New York Islanders force a game 7 by beating Washington. Detroit once again shutout Tampa Bay to regain the series lead. No Overtime needed for Chicago as they advance to the next round over Nashville. And Calgary also advance by beating Vancouver.
