Icrontic St Paddy's / Nain Rouge 2016
Where: ICHQ in Detroit, MI
When: March 18-20
What: An all-weekend gaming event in our home. On Sunday, we have a loud march thru the streets of Detroit to chase the Nain Rouge out of our fair city and usher in spring with our costumes and revelry. Bring ridiculous things to wear, and when in doubt, wear red. Keep in mind it may still be quite cold! There is a fun rally at the end. We will be walking distance from the house, so you can leave whenever you want.
Who: Bring a friend! Just let us know ahead of time.
Travel: If you are arriving before Thursday, please clear it with @primesuspect or I. If you need an airport ride, please attempt to coordinate this among yourselves before requesting pickups from us.
Accommodations: Tell us if you would like sleeping space in our luxurious attic. We have towels, linens, blankets, pillows, mattresses, and cots available.
Food: This is a BYO-everything event. Usually lunch is DIY and dinner is done as a group, but nothing is planned.
Special event: There is an 11am-1pm Friday opening at the local curling club that weekend in Ferndale (20 minutes away). It could be $30-40 per person to cover the flat per-lane fee. No previous experience required. It's a hoot. Let me know if you're interested in this when you "in" for the event. 6 person minimum, 16 maximum. Spectating is free.

Here is more information about the Marche for those who are interested. It's hilarious. It's Detroit's Mardi Gras.

In for at least something that weekend -- probably with @sazboom in tow and maybe with a special puppy guest or two (he'll have his shots by then, yay!).
Out for curling since it's Friday and some of us suckers have to work -- boo
While your attic accommodations are surely luxurious, we will opt for the warmth and comfort of our own bed, just 45mins away, heh.

Back in the day, @Linc used to make some delicious guac. Also, rape drinks.
Man, IC rape drink hasn't happened since the Warren house if I recall correctly. Feels like a lifetime ago.
If anyone is interested in a MTG draft during ICSP, let me know. It'd be free; I'll just keep the cards after. The new expansions look really, really good.
Also, I bought more Duel Decks if folks wanna play casually.
Also, I have a spare Commander deck now.
Uhhh no longer able to go unfortunately, more on that later
GUYS. If any of you have Star Wars costumes...please bring them for the Marche. It's a Star Wars theme, so this is your year to get your nerd on. Bad guys encouraged. ALSO......if anyone has a contact with the Great Lakes 501st, please speak now!

Will be searching for ride. Will buy lunch and 0+ ZJs if someone volunteers.
Friendly reminder for everyone attending to bring something silly and/or red for the Marche (including myself in that reminder). Every year a bunch of us say "man I wish I would have remembered to bring something".
I'm not making that mistake this year.
Whatever day at least 3 other people wanna do it.
Turned in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. Last day of work is the 16th. Fuck it, I'm in for the draft (if it happens). I'll literally be driving out for a few hours for the draft and maybe some food and nothing else.
I've had a Mardi Gras-style handmade mask from Cirque du Soleil in my attic since forever. I pulled it out a month ago and glumly said, "Oh."
ONLY CHUMPY CHUMPS FORGET TO DRESS UP! NAIN IS DIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCKKKKKKKKK
Also, I have a few "protest" signs from last year anyone can use.
