OMG. The Hampster Dance. I remember one time in college I put that up on my computer, turned the speakers up full blast and then went to class. May have drove a few people in nearby dorms a bit crazy.
20 years is a hard line to get over. They don't even look like modern memes at that point, it's more like "funny things that more than 1000 people emailed / swapped". Here's one my dad brought home on a floppy disk, so pretty confident it crosses that threshold:
