Unmodding an a7n8xDL v1.4

Hey all, I'm currently having a problem where I can overclock to 12.5x200 2500mghz but if I pump the fsb by just 2 to 202 it crashes. It only crashes when ever I do a video benchmark like 3dmarks etc. I can do a ton of other benches that stress the cpu and but video kills it.

I bought this mobo off of a freind. He did a pincil VMOD to the northbridge. I'm thinking it's this modd thats holding me back.

Does anyone have any links to where I can see what this modd is so I can erase it? Will erasing the lead be enough or should I use the wifes nail polish remover to really get it clean?

I would ask him but hes going to be away for a few weeks. Not to mension he pulled his hair trying to get to 200fsb on his 2800barton with this mobo.

Thanks a bunch

Going past 200 on that board is asking for it anyhow. I've killed no less than 5 1.04 A7N8X Deluxes from using 200MHz or higher bus speeds.

Nope. Stock A7N8X Deluxe 1.04s. Bump it up to ~210, and it'll kill it every time. The last one I had died at 200.
